Rugby for High School Boys and Girls in Greensboro

We are actively preparing for our Spring 2022 Rugby Season! We welcome you to come to practice and join the team!

We have two age groups - High School and Middle school.

Middle School age boys and girls will have a chance to learn how to play touch rugby from now till December at Oak Ridge Military Academy Field from 4-5pm.

If you're participating in High School - Our practices are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings behind Cross Fit Gym, 8309 Linville Rd, Oak Ridge, NC 27310, 6.30pm to 8.00pm

We invite high school girls and boys who have an interest in learning Rugby to come out and see if the sport is for you. Come to any practice to learn more.

Rugby is a great team sport! It is played in the Olympics. We have a club team and opportunities to play for both girls in boys. We play sevens in October and the 15 a side team season starts in November and goes through May.

During the season, we will practice 3 times a week, one of the sessions being an hour of just touch rugby, and our matches are generally on Saturdays.

Coaching and Approach

Rugby coaching is critical for the safety and enjoyment of the game. You don't have to have any experience to come out and try rugby. Our coaches have decades of experience both playing and coaching. In Rugby, the camaraderie and sportsmanship after the match are as much fun as the match itself.
